Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange’s Tadawul All-Share Index (TASI) went up by 132.98 points, or 1.69%, to stand at 8,007.39 points in a week.
Market capitalisation grew by SAR 139.74 billion ($37.26 billion) to SAR 8.58 trillion ($2.29 trillion) over the week, compared to the value recorded in the previous week.
Most sectors increased, except for the media and public utilities sectors which declined by 1.7% and 3.3%, respectively.
The software sector surged 14.1% and the real estate sector rose by 4.88%, while the telecom sector added 2.8% and the energy sector gained 1.9%.
The materials sector increased by 1.7% and the banking sector levelled up by 1.35%.
Trading volume decreased to 577.1 million shares over the week, while trading value dropped to SAR 14.17 billion.
